Lucine Fyelon is a classically trained Violinist, Singer & Record Producer who pioneers her own creative fusion of sound. Communicating her story through classical & contemporary music, she presents a style of Hip-Hop, R&B, & EDM with a twist of Armenian soul.
Lucine’s song “PoundCake” went viral on Facebook, obtaining 21 million views in various Facebook pages. Progressing the artist further, she released her debut album titled “LUCINE,” a collection of original songs, furthermore launching her first solo tour in North America to showcase the album. After gaining 1st place on the TV show “Showtime at the Apollo,” her popularity continued to grow, headlining Festivals and opening for artists such as Jermaine Dupree & Jamie Fox, as well as invitations to appear on numerous TV and Radio shows. Her musical journey went from strength to strength, adding to the list a contract as a solo violinist/singer with the acclaimed “Cirque du Soleil” for their show “Crystal” and performing in 100 shows across Canada & North America, correspondingly performing as a soloist across Asia & Europe.
Born in Armenia to a Mother & Father who are both classically trained instrumentalists (violin & piano), they began teaching five-year-old Lucine various skills in music and discovered that she had the rare “Perfect Pitch.” Later the young prodigy was accepted into the prestigious “Tchaikovsky School of Music,” where she was majoring in Violin performance and receiving top education in all musical aspects.
After successfully graduating, the family moved to Los Angeles, and language became another challenge for the young artist to perfect. Lucine also found an Armenian Church where she became the youngest member of the choir. Hearing & recognizing Lucine’s talent, the church Pastor introduced her to “Ellada Chakhoyan,” a distinguished opera singer who provided her with valuable lessons in operatic vocal technique. Lucine continued her studies, earning a Bachelors's degree from Cal State Northridge, majoring in violin performance, and also earning a Master's degree from UCLA Majoring in Vocal (Opera) performance. While at University, she made the finals of the (Placido Domingo’s LA Young Artist Program) and secured a position of 1st violinist in the (American Youth Symphony) in addition to performing regularly as a soloist with a variety of orchestras.
As Lucine’s experience in music evolved, her innovation to develop her own musical style strengthened, inspired by a range of genres with the vision of not wanting to be contained in one musical genre, her enchanting style flows with organic freedom.
Some of her major credits have been performing at The Grammys with Foo-Fighters, the Latin Grammys with Ricky Martin & Miguel Bose, as well as the American Music Awards with Shawn Mendes.
Major TV appearances have included The Tonight Show, MTV Unplugged alongside Miley Cyrus & Madonna, Ellen Show, ASCAP Awards with Lauren Hill & Coachella Festival with Florence & the machine.
Lucine has also contributed to various Studio recordings with established artists like The Black-Eye Peas, Britney Spears & Iggy Azaleas, to name a few. Also appeared in Dua Lipa video (don’t start now live in LA)
Performed Live with Jared Leto & consecutive performances with 30 secs to Mars. She became the lead violinist for The Glee television show (seasons 1,2,3,4 & 5)
Performing in Orchestras alongside legends such as (John Williams, the Film Composer) & (David Foster, the Composer/Producer) has been an enormous gratification for the artist.
In 2016 the artist started in her first film, “The Black Hole” alongside Malcolm McDowell and Dean Cane and was also solo violinist for the feature film “Fame Remake.” Lucine has appeared in numerous commercials for huge companies.
